Print & Promo Marketing recently featured Don Klumbach, a Fully Promoted and Signarama owner in Sugar Land, Texas, in its Convergence Corner series. The piece looks at how he helps customers show up consistently everywhere their brand appears.
From print to full-service partner
Don’s story starts in New York, where he began in print, specializing in flatbed and roll-to-roll work. Now based in Texas, he saw the industry moving toward complete service providers. He added promotional products to his business through Fully Promoted, a Counselor Top 40 distributor, so he could serve customers across more of what they need.
One brand, many touchpoints
Don says the mix works because it lets him help customers tell their story in many different ways. As he puts it, “It’s all visual communication.” He approaches each job with curiosity, starting with what the customer wants to accomplish rather than just what they want to buy. A grand opening order for flags and banners can grow into apparel and other promotional products once a customer trusts you to understand their brand.
Why it matters for future owners
Don’s path shows how an owner can widen what they offer over time by listening closely and earning trust. That is the kind of customer-first thinking we see across the Fully Promoted system.
Watch and listen
The full conversation is also available as a podcast episode. Topics include creating a cohesive brand with print and promo, the power of brand convergence, handling client roadblocks and tight turnarounds, and Don’s advice for other distributors, including keeping promises and using AI.
